Peter is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a member of its Corporate Finance Faculty and part of its Special Interest Group on Tourism and Hospitality.
In 1982 Peter set up an accountancy practice (now Warrener Stewart) focused on the commercial requirements of its clients. After, 25 years of continuous year on year growth, Peter retired from practice leaving the firm in the capable hands of five partners.
After three years of retirement, during which time he and his wife, Angela, travelled round the world three times, Peter teamed up as a consultant with a handful of entrepreneurial businesses which he admired and on whose objectives he felt he could make a positive impact.
With the successful achievement of those objectives marking the completion of his assignments, Peter is now focused on two remaining sectors in which he has now taken on formal directorships. One of these is with Meon Valley Travel where, in April 2018, Peter accepted our invitation to become Non-Executive Chairman.
