The sport-fishing is rightly world renowned here, and you can pick from dozens of reliable operators who will show you exactly how to catch that perfect specimen in the amazingly clear waters. Then head further south to the secluded natural paradise of Little Torch Key, which boasts some of the most isolated but captivating waters along the Keys. Kayaking, paddle-boarding and fishing are all popular here, while there are two major wildlife attractions at Bahia Honda State Park and the Great White Heron National Wildlife Refuge. After enjoying three days of unspoiled splendour, continue the drive south to the southernmost terminus of Key West, with its wildly eclectic charm, unique attractions and more touring opportunities, including champagne sunset cruises and day-trips to the fascinating Dry Tortugas National Park, where the snorkeling is some of the best in the world. It all adds up to an absolute scenic sensation, with masses of bio-diverse nature seemingly on tap.
