Business Development Sales Manager With Business Development Director duties

We are an innovative independent TMC with Operations in Petersfield and Leicester looking for an experienced Business Development Manager/Director with a strong TMC background to replace our outgoing Sales Director who’s done such a good job he’s been enticed away by his family’s business. You will already have enviable experience of winning SME relationships as well as managing a small yet perfectly formed team.   We are offering an attractive package with great performance related rewards and car allowance for the successful candidate.

 


Business Development Sales Manager/Business Development Director duties:-

  • Winning small and medium sized corporate business ranging between £50k to £4m
  • Carrying out the initial visit to potential clients, pitching, negotiation and closing sales
  • Helping implement new accounts
  • Managing a small highly effective team
  • Building and presenting propositions and tenders
  • Working closely with the Marketing Team, Account Managers and Directors
  • Presenting monthly to the board

Business Development Sales Manager/Business Development Director skills required:-

  • Business Development experience working for a motivated TMC is a must
  • Proven track record of winning outcomes
  • Experience of team management
  • A track record of innovation, driving results and inspiring others
